South Shore University Women's Club Bursary for Students with Disabilities
Concordia University
The South Shore University Women's Club Bursary for Students with Disabilities was created by the South Shore University Women's Club (SSUWC), a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women. The SSUWC raises funds locally through the contributions of time, money, and efforts from its members to use toward the encouragement and support of women committed to bettering themselves and society through higher education. In addition to its focus on education, the SSUWC is involved in public affairs, working to raise the social, economic, and political status of women and girls as well as to improve public education, the environment, peace and human rights for society as a whole and they hope their financial aid will support students who share these goals.
Restricted to female students registered with the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities. Preference will be given to students from the South Shore (or Montreal, if there are no candidates from the South Shore). Open to full-time and part-time Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students, award is renewable.
