Power Corporation Fund for Women’s Varsity Excellence Award
Concordia University
The purpose of this award is to provide financial athletic awards for female varsity student-athletes. It aims to support women’s hockey, basketball, soccer and rugby programs and its student athletes by contributing to their academic success, mental well-being, physical health, and life after university sports.
Candidates must be USport eligible varsity-athletes nominated by the Head Coach from the Women’s Hockey, Basketball, Soccer or Rugby teams, with a minimum AGPA of 2.0 per USports standards..
The award is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
Candidate and award value recommendations will be provided each year by the Recreation and Athletics Department to the Undergraduate Scholarship & Awards Committee (USAC) by way of the Financial Aid and Awards Office, which will administer the awards.
Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
