Office of University Advancement and Alumni Relations Bursary
Concordia University
This bursary was established in 2003 through the generosity of staff of the Office of University Advancement and Alumni Relations who are involved, in collaboration with the University's internal and external communities, in building and sustaining programs that secure continued financial and material support from the private sector in support of the University's strategic academic priorities. Students wishing to be considered for this bursary must have completed one year of full-time or part-time studies in any undergraduate or graduate program and must demonstrate active community involvement in order to be eligible. Submissions must be accompanied by two reference letters from that organization attesting to the candidate's volunteer work at the organization. This bursary will available to Undergraduate and Graduate students in alternating years. Undergraduate students may apply for this bursary using the In-Course Bursary application, available early in the Fall semester at the Financial Aid and Awards Office.
Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
