Norma Hayes Entrance Bursary in Studio Arts

Created by Carolyn and Richard Renaud in honor of Norma Hayes 90th birthday, the purpose of this Entrance Bursary is to provide financial support for undergraduate students, preferably single-mother students, entering studies leading to a Bachelor in Studio Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University.
This bursary is part of the Entrance Bursary program. Candidates are selected each year by the Entrance Bursary committee. Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents or international students, this bursary is renewable in future years on the basis of continuing enrollment in the BFA Studio Arts program and a minimum Assessment GPA of 2.00.
The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.
To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.
The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
