Nadia Gagliano Student Teaching Award

The Nadia Gagliano Student Teaching Award is intended to encourage and reward excellent students who will exemplify the characteristics that best describe Nadia Gagliano (1979-2002). Nadia was always willing to help others, provide support, and she was highly esteemed and respected by her peers. The Nadia Gagliano Student Teaching Award will be granted through competition on the basis of academic excellence and written personal statements. It is open to all 4th-year full-time or part-time students in the Early Childhood and Elementary Education (ECEE) program at Concordia University. Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Strong academic standing (Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher), involvement in community activities, team player, motivated, hardworking, dedicated to children and the profession of education; professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and personal qualities (i.e. warm, energetic, positive, caring).
In-course bursaries Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
