Lillian S. Robinson Memorial Scholarship in Womens Studies

This scholarship program was originally established in 2001 in commemoration of the contributions of Professor Lillian S. Robinson to the field of Women's Studies. Professor Robinson was the Principal of Concordia University's Simone de Beauvoir Institute, which is devoted to the study of women's issues, and attracts women from a wide variety of backgrounds with diverse scholarly interests. Professor Robinson passed away in 2006, and this scholarship honours her memory.
The Lillian S. Robinson Memorial Scholarship in Women's Studies is open to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, and International students who have completed one year of full-time or part-time studies in a Bachelor of / Bacclaureate in Arts and Science, with a Major or Specialization in Women's Studies. Selection of scholarship recipients will be made by the University based upon the recommendation of a selection committee. This scholarship is not renewable, but may be awarded to the same student in subsequent years.
In-course bursaries Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
