Leutner Family Bursary in Finance

Established in 2017, the Leutner Family Bursary in Finance is intended to recognise and assist newly admitted students in the John Molson School of Business with a Major in Finance.
Miles Leutner is First Vice President, Portfolio Manager at CIBC Wood Gundy. He graduated from JMSB with his Bachelor of Commerce in ’79.
Candidates for this bursary are considered by the Entrance Bursary committee each year. Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students, this bursary is renewable on the basis of continuing full-time enrollment in the B Comm program with a Major in Finance, and a minimum Assessment GPA of 2.00.
The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.
To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.
The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
