Kossi Sonokpon and Yawa Abalo Entrance Bursary

The Kossi Sonokpon and Yawa Abalo Entrance Bursary was established in 2013 through the generosity of international aviation expert, bilingual inspirational speaker and author of THE imPOSSIBLE FLIGHT, Kofi Sonokpon (AMBA, 2003) in honour of his parents. This non-renewable bursary is intended to help a student new to Concordia University in financial need, as Kossi himself was supported when he was an International Student, struggling to make ends meet.Open to full-time Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
