Julien Brisebois Bursary

Julien BriseBois is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at JMSB and has been a loyal donor to the University for many years. He is the Assistant General Manager for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

he purpose of this award is to create a Bursary in support of undergraduate students-athletes who have been recruited to play on the women’s varsity hockey team and have national team potential. Candidates must have been a part of a provincial hockey team, participated in the Hockey Canada development camp, received an individual award from the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec, the organization governing student sports in Quebec.

Candidates for this bursary are considered by the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards Committee on the basis of a recommendation from the Department of Recreation and Athletics.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
