Jaydeep Gupta Bursary for Women in Finance

The purpose of the Endowment is to support female students who are pursuing a major in Finance at the John Molson School of Business Karna Gupta is a two-time graduate of Concordia University (BCom’77 and MBA’79). The Awards are named after his late brother, Jaydeep Gupta who passed away in 2020 and was also a two-time graduate of the University (BA’82 & MBA’84). The Bursary is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students and is renewable. More specifically, for the student who first receives the Bursary in her second academic year, it will be renewable once for her third academic year.
Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
