Irshad Family In-Course Scholarship in Actuarial Mathematics

The Irshad Family In-Course Scholarship in Actuarial Mathematics was established thanks to the generosity of Mr. Naveed Irshad (BSc ’93). The Scholarship is intended to encourage exceptional students with aptitude in Mathematics, in the excellent actuarial science programs offered at Concordia University.

Open to full-time students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students) restricted to BA/BSc in Actuarial Mathematics, including the Actuarial Mathematics / Finance and Co-Op programs. This bursary is non-renewable.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
