Highwater Foundation Scholarship for Student Veterans
Concordia University
Stephen Hurlburt is the President of the Highwater Foundation. He is a long-time donor and a graduate of JMSB with a BComm ’71. He established this scholarship in 2017 in order to recognise and reward academic excellence in veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces who are enrolled in full-time studies at Concordia University. This non-renewable In-Course Scholarship is open to full-time Bachelor's students in any discipline of study.
Candidates are selected by the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards Committee on the basis of proof of veteran status or current service, and a minimum Assessment GPA of 3.30.
In-course bursaries Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
