Garnet Key Entrance Award

Garnet Key is a voluntary group that is sponsored by the President of the University and serves as one of the key elements in promoting a positive image of Concordia University. Garnet Key is a representative group of Concordia students who hold high academic standing and who are involved in activities both within and outside the University.

Established in 2014, the Garnet Key Entrance Award is an entrance bursary that is intended to encourage and support newly-admitted Undergraduate students whose commitment and spirit towards community involvement and academic excellence reflect the values exemplified by the Garnet Key Society. Furthermore, the purpose of this non-renewable bursary is to raise awareness of the Garnet Key Society to new students in the hopes that this will create further interest and garner greater competition for students entering into the Garnet Key Society.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
