Overview

Established in 2018, the purpose of these scholarships is to provide full tuition payment plus partial living expenses to part-time Mature students wishing to enter Concordia’s Accountancy, Finance, Business Technology Management, International Business or management programs. The Scholarships will also be open to full-time Mature students who are interested in pursuing their BComm in the same programs above-mentioned.

The Frank Murphy Endowment will be established through a bequest from Concordia University Alumnus, Frank Murphy (GrDipl, Accountancy ’83). These Scholarships will be created primarily in support of Mature, part-time students that wish to enter Accountancy and would like to attend full-time. This reflects Mr. Murphy’s own experience as a night school student at Loyola College, which he believes set him up for success as a full-time accountant.

Candidates for this entrance scholarship are selected automatically during admission processing. The scholarship is renewable in future semesters on the basis of continuing enrollment in one of the eligible areas of study, and a minimum Assessment GPA of 3.30.
