Francine V. Jones Art Conservation Study Scholarship

The Francine V. Jones Art Conservation Study Scholarship is intended to encourage and reward students who are completing a Bachelor in Fine Art (BFA), Master of Art (MA), Master of Fine Art (MFA), or a Master of Design (MDes) degree at the University, and who intend to pursue further studies leading to a career in Art Conservation.
The Scholarship shall be granted through competition to a student who is enrolled in their final term of studies in the Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts program, in any discipline of study leading to that degree, and who is expected to graduate at the Spring convocation of the then-current academic year.
Candidates must write a personal statement detailing their interest in and studies to date in Art Conservation, and confirming their intention to pursue further studies in this area at the graduate level leading to an eventual career in this field. Candidates’ submissions must be accompanied by two reference letters from Faculty of Fine Arts academic staff who are familiar with the student’s interests and intentions in the area of Art Conservation.
Candidate statements and supporting references submitted for this Scholarship competition will be adjudicated by the Faculty of Fine Arts, which will provide its recommendations to the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards Committee (USAC) of the University by way of the Financial Aid and Awards Office.
In-course bursaries Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.
In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.
The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
