Concordia Used Book Fair Stinger Scholarship

Thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers of the annual Concordia Used Book Fair and the record fundraising of the 20th edition in 2016, a $1,000 student award was created to recognize a driven athlete on the Stingers men’s rugby team. This award will go to a newly-admitted full-time student who demonstrates a combination of athletic and academic potential and/or financial need. This renewable award, which provides support for a maximum of three years, will be allocated to a student athlete who remains in good academic standing.

Candidates for this award are recommended to the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards Committee each year by the Department of Recreation and Athletics.

In-course bursaries Concordia offers need-based In-Course Bursaries to returning Bachelor's students in the Fall semester.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate In-Course Bursary Program will be open April 1, 2024.

In-Course Bursaries are awarded by the Financial Aid and Awards Office to previously admitted students following an application-based competition that includes a financial need test and holistic committee review. Applicants are notified of the results after the Financial Aid and Awards Office receives results from the bursary committee.

The In-Course Bursary program normally open April 1, 2024 and will close on May 15, 2024.
