Overview

The CIBC Undergraduate Entrance Bursary was established in 2009 by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. The CIBC is a leading Canadian-based financial institution with more than 42,000 employees which is dedicated to helping its clients achieve what matters to them, delivering consistent and sustainable performance for its shareholders, and making a difference through corporate donations, sponsorships and the volunteer spirit of employees. With a focus on youth, education and health, CIBC invested close to $34 million in communities across Canada in 2010.

The CIBC Undergraduate Entrance Bursary is available to newly-admitted full-time Undergraduate students in the John Molson School of Business in the Bachelor of Commerce or the Bachelor of Administration program, in any area of study. This bursary is non-renewable.

Eligibility

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
