Christopher Achkarian Scholarship

The Christopher Achkarian Scholarship is an initiative created by the Nathalie Torossian and Eran Plonski, in honor of their nephew who was a graduate student at JMSB that passed away suddenly in August 2015. Christopher was an exemplary student and human being. He was known in the community for his good nature, friendship, intellect and dedication to his loved ones. Christopher was also a sports enthusiast participating in and cheering on his favorite teams. His passing has been a daily struggle for those who knew him and he is greatly missed. This scholarship is in his loving memory as he continues to inspire from above. The scholarship was created to award students whoa re studying at JMSB and are involved in athletics as well as contributed to the community through service or volunteer work.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
