Appreciation of Life Bursary

The Appreciation of Life Bursary was created in honor of an engineer who was passionate about her profession and whose life was cut short after only 29 years. Her memory will live on through this bursary awarded to a deserving student.

Non-renewable, this bursary is open to full-time and part-time Canadian citizens and permanent residents only in any department in the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science and the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
