Anne and Patrick O Doherty Memorial Bursary

The Anne and Patrick O Doherty Memorial Bursary was established by Ms. Doreen Badour BA '76 in honour of her parents. She wishes to help alleviate some of the burden from single mothers who are seeking to further advance their education. This award is open single mothers in all faculties, preference to part-time students and is renewable. Canadian citizens and permanent residents only.

The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.

Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.

To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.

The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
