Alice LeCouvie Entrance Bursary
Concordia University
The Alice LeCouvie Entrance Bursary was established in 2014 by Concordia University staff member Leisha LeCouvie, with her daughters Emily and Lily, as a pledge to the Community Campaign. The Alice LeCouvie Entrance Bursary pays tribute to their mother and grandmother who as a single mother, worked full-time, and still found time to pursue part-time studies at Concordia. The Alice LeCouvie Bursary will support newly-admitted full-time and part-time Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students who are also single parents. This bursary is renewable on the basis of continuing registration and a minimum Assessment GPA of 2.00.
The Entrance Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to newly admitted students to an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in any discipline of study.
Application deadline The 2024-2025 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary Program will open on March 3, 2024.
To apply to the Entrance Bursary program, an application form must be submitted online along with various supporting documents. Eligibility is determined following a financial needs test, a review of the candidate’s academic ranking as assigned during admission application processing, and a holistic appreciation of the applicant’s personal statements on the entrance bursary application form.
The Entrance Bursary application opens on March 3, 2024 to April 3, 2024.
