Gregory L. Morris II Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is offered annually to a Foothill High School graduating senior who plans to major in the field of Science.

Gregory was raised in Palo Cedro and attended Junction Elementary School. While growing up, Gregory was surrounded by all types of animals that he loved. So much so, on weekends he would volunteer his time and energy assisting his mother with finding homes for shelter animals.

At Foothill High School, Gregory continued working with animals through his participation in the Future Farmers of America program. In addition, he began helping his schoolmates by tutoring them in math, chemistry, and science assignments. Whenever they needed help, Gregory was always there for them. Gregory loved to help people whenever he could and was very generous with his time and friendship.

To honor Gregory, the Gregory L. Morris II Memorial Scholarship award will be offered annually to a Foothill High School graduating senior who plans to major in the field of Science.

Open Application Window: November – March, annually

• Graduating from Foothill High School, Palo Cedro
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
• Plans to pursue a degree in the field of science
• Plans to attend a 4-year college/university the fall semester following high school graduation
