FWF ’62 Scholarship Fund

An opportunity for graduating female from Shasta High School in Redding, CA, this ongoing scholarship is offered by a group of women honoring the importance and value of nurturing friendships throughout a lifetime.

This scholarship fund, established in the year 2000, honors friendship and loyalty by twelve women whose friendship began in their Redding elementary school days. Throughout the years they remained in touch though separated by schooling, careers, growing families and distance. The friends have since contributed to the FWF ’62 Scholarship Fund to establish an ongoing scholarship recognizing the importance and value of nurturing friendships throughout a lifetime.
