The Christine Begley Scholarship supports female graduates of Anderson High School pursuing a college education. Priority consideration given to those entering the Education field.
Christine Begley ran track competitively, holding several long-standing records and supporting the formation of the girls track team while attending Anderson High School. Upon retirement from a 35-year teaching career at Parsons Middle School in 2014, Christine established the Christine Begley Scholarship Endowment to assist young women graduates of Anderson High School pursuing a college education. Priority consideration given to students entering the Education field.
Open Application Window: November – March, annually
- Graduating female from Anderson High School
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Plans to attend a community college OR 4-year college/university
