Overview

Born November 17, 1927, at 61 Madsen Avenue, Richmond Valley, Staten Island, N.Y. The youngest of five children of Einar and Rachel Marie Gregoriussen. Marian, Thelma, Astrid, Einar and Olga all attended Tottenville High School. All but Olga graduated. Marian graduated in June of 1944. She was on the permanent Honor Roll and president of the Honor Society. College was not an option for Marian, so she went to work as a legal secretary with a law firm and was taking courses at night to become a court stenographer, when she married John Snee in 1947. They had five children while Marian was helping John get a college degree, work for a major oil company, and develop an oil business and real estate development business in Salisbury, MD.

Marian was an avid reader and instilled that desire in all five children. She loved to garden, ice skate, swim, and care for animals.

Marian was a beautiful, smart, and personable lady without an envious bone in her body. She was beautiful inside and out.

The world is a better place for her having been here! Marian went to be with the good Lord and all of her family on May 8, 2013.
