Choice of School: Applicants must be accepted in an accredited welding program to be eligible.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be enrolled in the welding program and demonstrate an above-average interest in welding as a career and indicate financial need in order to further his or her education in welding, or a related area of study. If the applicant does not intend to see additional training, but has elected to seek employment upon graduation, the award may be used to purchase a basic set of welding tools. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on recommendation from school personnel, academic ability, extra-curricular activities and financial need, as designated by the school’s administration.

How to Apply:
Applications are available at www.cfes.org or in the Parkside High School CTE administrative office. Completed applications must be submitted to the school’s Guidance office by no later than April 1st to be considered for a scholarship award, only when the following have been submitted:
- A completed scholarship application
- Official high school transcript of grades
- Letter of acceptance from college, university, technical school, or place of employment
- Applicants may be required to be interviewed by the Scholarship Advisory Committee.
Who May Apply:
Applicants must be graduates of Parkside High School CTE in Wicomico County, Maryland.
