Scholarship Background and Intent

A third-generation farmer in Caledonia, IL, Mike Lindberg was a community activist committed to education and his family. The intent of this scholarship is to honor Mike by supporting a graduating senior from North Boone who reflects his values, working hard regardless of recognition.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must

  • Be a graduating senior at North Boone High School.
  • Share Mike’s values, including the importance of family, service to one’s community, and the compassionate treatment of others.
  • Demonstrate financial need.

Specifications

Preference will be given to students who plan to attend a community college or vocational school.
