Scholarship Background and Intent
Frances demonstrated impeccable leadership skills, was always dependable, and had a strong sense of citizenship. The intent of this scholarship is to honor her legacy by providing educational resources for students attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must
- Currently reside in NSDAR District 2.
- Plan to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the upcoming school year.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, dependability, and citizenship.
- Demonstrate at least a moderate level of financial need.
Specifications
Academic performance will be given high priority consideration in the selection process.
NSDAR District 2 currently includes the following counties in Illinois: Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, Whiteside, Lee, Bureau, La Salle, Stark, Marshall, Putnam, and Grundy.
