Penserra Founder’s Scholarship

Purpose: Created by George Madrigal and Penserra LLC, this scholarship is for Willits High School seniors who are first, second or third-generation (minimum one parent or one grandparent) immigrants and intend to pursue a course of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university.

Priority: Priority will be given to individuals who have a 3.0-GPA or higher, have financial need, and have demonstrated, through sports, community work, or their employment history, ambition and a willingness to work hard in and out of school.

Requirements: A current Community Foundation online application, high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation from instructors, teachers, coaches, community members, or employers.
