Nash Bartolomie Industrial Arts Scholarship
Community Foundation of Mendocino County
Purpose: Created by the friends and family of Nash Bartolomie, this scholarship is for Ukiah-area seniors or graduates who are interested in pursuing a 2-yr. technical degree at a community college in the United States pursuing a career in the industrial arts (e.g. carpentry, metallurgy, automotive technology, electronics and computer repair, technical drafting and computer-aided design (CAD), building and construction, plumbing and heating system design and operation, welding, etc).
Priority: Preference will be given to students who demonstrate passion, creativity, determination and work ethic necessary to accomplish their goals, have financial need, and show participation in community service, extracurriculars and/or employment and can demonstrate a GPA of 2.5 or higher).
Requirements: A current Community Foundation online application, high school transcript, at least one image of an example of the applicant’s industrial art, and two letters of recommendation from an instructor, teachers, coaches, community members, or employers.
