Keffeler Family Medical Scholarship
Community Foundation of Mendocino County
Purpose: Created by the friends and family to honor the lives of Larry and Joyce Keffeler, this scholarship is for Ukiah High School seniors who are interested in pursuing a 1.5 plus year, or 4 plus year, degree at an accredited community college, college, or university with the goal of a career in the medical profession (e.g. physician, physician assistant, nurse, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, psychologist, paramedic, firefighter, radiology technician, etc.).
Priority: Preference will be given to students who demonstrate the dedication, commitment, perseverance, aptitude, and the work ethic necessary to accomplish their career goals.
Requirements: A current Community Foundation online application, high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation from instructors, teachers, coaches, community members, or employers.
