Kevin Kilstofte Memorial Scholarship Fund
Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
Background:
This scholarship was established in loving memory of Kevin, by the Board of Education and staff of the Freedom Area School District where he served as the District Administrator. Mr. Kilstofte had a resounding passion and big love for educating and inspiring children to meet their full potential. Kevin’s passion and dedication went beyond the classroom as he served as a coach and mentor to many. After moving to Green Bay in 2001, he worked for the Denmark School District as High School Assistant Principal and Principal, and when called upon, he worked as Principal of the Middle School. In 2012, Mr. Kilstofte joined the staff of the Freedom Area School District as the District Administrator. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who also loved sports and cooking. Mr. Kilstofte lived a life of integrity and always knew how to add a touch of humor to any situation. He is dearly missed, his legacy will be carried on through our memories, his impact on thousands of students, and this scholarship award.
