Jeff and Michelle Moehn Family Scholarship Fund
Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
Background:
Jeff & Michelle were married in Chilton in 1992 and resided in De Pere until 1999. They decided to return to Chilton to raise their children in a small community, and Jeff had aspirations to start his own plumbing business. In 2000, Jeff founded their family business, Moehn Plumbing. With the support of the Chilton community, Jeff ran a successful plumbing business for 18 years. In 2014, Jeff was diagnosed with colon cancer. He went through treatments and remained cancer free until 2021. Unfortunately, the cancer had returned, and Jeff passed away in February 2022. Jeff & Michelle's three daughters attended Chilton High School and were three-sport athletes. Even with busy schedules, they did very well academically. After graduation, they furthered their education to obtain college degrees. Each of them had received local scholarships at senior night. With rising college costs, they were so thankful for those scholarships and the generous donors. The Moehn's truly believed Chilton was a fantastic place to raise a family. Members of the community were extremely supportive of their family during their years in business and during Jeff's illness. They wanted to be able to give back to the community that gave so generously to them.
