Overview

Background:

James “Jim” P. Bohne died unexpectedly on April 15, 2009, at the age of 67. He was lovingly known as “Geometry Jim” and Coach”. Jim taught math at Kimberly High School from 1965-1998 and coached football and track for many years. In addition, Jim managed Bulldog Youth Football, served as a WIAA official at crosscountry and track meets and volunteered at the WI Special Olympics. When Jim first came to Kimberly High School, he taught Geometry, Trigonometry and Probability and Statistics. In 1977 “Geometry Jim” began teaching Calculus. Jim enjoyed spending time with friends and family, gardening, golfing, water skiing, playing cards, watching football games and other sports, and taking walks around his neighborhood in Combined Locks. He enjoyed many weekends up north at Roberts Lake near Wabeno, working on remodeling projects, fishing, and relaxing on the boat with good friends and family. In whatever capacity Jim had with Kimberly’s youth - teaching, coaching or refereeing, he always put the best interest of every individual first
