International Association of Structural Movers Scholarship
Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
Background:
IASM began as a “not for profit” trade association in 1983 when a collection of individuals engaged in the business of moving structures believed the time was right to form an organization to represent their industry. In the overall business scheme of life, the structural moving industry (SMI) is not equal to other major industries. Nevertheless, the SMI has an important role to play in the lives of thousands and thousands of individuals, companies, governments and society. Over two decades later IASM is composed of more than three hundred eighty-five (385) members in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Greece, New Zealand, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States. This scholarship was established to benefit the children of IASM member companies or member company employees.
