James L. Andersen Scholarship

Overview

To provide financial support for students in the College of Business with a GPA of 3.0 and above who come from Eastern or Central Washington. Preference for graduates from Kiona-Benton High School or Ellensburg High School.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be from Central or Eastern Washington.
• Applicant must be a Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics major.
• Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or better.

How to Apply

The Scholarship Central general application is available to all current students and to new CWU applicants with access to the MyCWU student portal.

Once you complete the general application, you will be added to the applicant pool of one or more scholarships. Some may have additional requirements: an essay, letters of recommendation, etc. As long as you complete those requirements by the deadline, you can be considered for the scholarship.

A few scholarships will direct you to an academic department or other office to complete the application. Scholarship Central shows you meet the minimum qualifications but you will need follow up with those contacts to be considered.
