Overview

To provide financial support for sophomore, junior and senior students who demonstrate superior scholastic or creative achievement. Students pursuing creative disciplines (art, drama, music, creative writing, dance, or film and video studies) must undertake a creative project in connection with their majors. Students who wish to pursue research must focus on a specific research project in archaeology, geology or history of the Kittitas Valley. Detailed application process available at the C. Qualifications

  • Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. -Applicant must have sophomore standing when they receive the scholarship funds.

How to Apply

The Scholarship Central general application is available to all current students and to new CWU applicants with access to the MyCWU student portal.

Once you complete the general application, you will be added to the applicant pool of one or more scholarships. Some may have additional requirements: an essay, letters of recommendation, etc. As long as you complete those requirements by the deadline, you can be considered for the scholarship.

A few scholarships will direct you to an academic department or other office to complete the application. Scholarship Central shows you meet the minimum qualifications but you will need follow up with those contacts to be considered.
