MDS Service Scholarship

This application form is for students applying for the MDS Service Scholarship. Students are required to meet the same criteria as all MDS Long-Term and Leadership Volunteers as listed below.
Student application forms are due by January 31. Interviews will take place following the application deadline. Students will be notified whether they are accepted by mid-March.

Working Together – we intentionally work with one another inside and MDS and with partner organizations.
Volunteer Criteria
- Must be Christians and active participants in a church or other faith based community.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- If volunteers are not Canadian/US citizens, they are responsible to ensure that they have proper visas to volunteer in Canada or the U.S. MDS does not provide assistance with visas.
- Volunteers are responsible for their own medical/travel insurance.
- Volunteers must also agree to acknowledge, respect and live by the MDS Core Values and Shared Convictions while serving with MDS.
