Campion Magis Science Essay Scholarship

The Campion Magis Science Essay Scholarship was established in 2021 for entering students registered through Campion College in the Faculty of Science.

The scholarships will be awarded annually in the Fall to a maximum of three students who meet the following criteria:

• have been conditionally admitted to Campion College as new undergraduate students for the Fall semester of the year the scholarships are awarded;
• are registered as full-time students (as defined by the University of Regina) in the Fall semester; and
• are pursuing a program in the Faculty of Science.

Required: An essay of 250-500 words detailing why an education in Science is important and how it can be used to improve and benefit our world.

How to apply:

• Look at all scholarships and make note of the ones you wish to apply for.
• Review the criteria for each award and make note of what they require.
• Personal statement: tell the selection committee why you would be an appropriate recipient for the award(s) for which you have applied, a maximum of 500 words. Have this statement written and ready to upload.
• Financial information: this will include a list of expenses and methods of financing. Have this information ready to input into the application form.
• Volunteer and extracurricular activities: this will require you to list organizations, dates, and hours of service. Have this information ready to input into the application form.
• Some awards will also require additional letters of support or specific essays. Have these saved and ready to upload.
• Fill in the online application.
• Complete the form and be sure to include all relevant sections and attachments for the scholarship(s) for which you are applying.
• Simply submit it at the end. NOTE: You can save your progress and return to your online application.
• When you submit, you should receive an email to the address you provided with an acknowledgement of receipt of your application.
