Minciencias Cambridge Scholarship

Minciencias is the Colombian Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation, a government agency that supports fundamental and applied research in Colombia.

Since 2014, Minciencias has worked with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Minciencias Cambridge Scholarship, available to Colombian PhD candidates in a range of academic subjects.

This scholarship is available to PhD applicants from Colombia. Any academic subject will be considered. It is tenable at any College.

Offered in partnership with Minciencias, the Colombian Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation.

How to apply

Candidates are selected by Minciencias (not the Trust)

To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

• check with Minciencias the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
• apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)
