Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation was established by Mr Indoo Shivdasani in 1976, to incorporate the existing philanthropic work of the founder and to provide a permanent independent body for the expansion of those activities.
The Foundation's main objective is to identify exceptionally talented young Indian students and support them financially, enabling them to develop their special skills and talents to the maximum. It offers a range of different scholarship programmes, including a programme for postgraduate study and research abroad; over 350 scholars have benefited from these awards.
Since 2016 the Foundation has worked with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Inlaks Cambridge Scholarship, available to Indian students at Master’s or PhD level in a range of academic subjects.
This award is available to Masters and PhD applicants from India. It is tenable at any College.

Conditions
The scholarship is not tenable in the following fields:
- Business Studies
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Medicine
- Music -Public Health
How to apply
Candidates are selected by the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation (not the Trust)
To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- check with the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
