HEC Pakistan Cambridge Scholarship

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is an independent, autonomous, and constitutionally established institution of primary funding, overseeing, regulating, and accrediting of higher education in Pakistan. HEC connects exceptional students from Pakistan with the best research universities in the world through its international scholarship programme.

HEC and the Cambridge Trust established the Pakistan HEC Cambridge Scholarships to support outstanding Pakistani students to undertake a PhD degree at the University of Cambridge.

This scholarship is awarded to PhD applicants from Pakistan for study in any subject. It is tenable at any College.

How to apply

Candidates are selected by HEC (not the Trust)

To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

• check with the Higher Education Commission Pakistan the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
• apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)
