Overview:
Our Judge John Newton Mooting Scholarships are awarded exclusively to a Year 12 students who have participated in the Bond University National High School Mooting Competition.
Judge John Newton Mooting Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate high academic achievements, as well as demonstrated record of leadership, initiative and service to their school and/or community.
Applications open 10am on Tuesday, 2 May, 2023 and close 5pm on Tuesday, 5 September, 2023.
Being a Judge John Newton Mooting Scholar:
As a Judge John Newton Mooting Scholar, you will be awarded with 50% tuition remission for a Bachelor of Laws or an approved combined program that contains a Bachelor of Laws, and will commence your study at Bond in the January semester.
As a Judge John Newton Mooting Scholarship applicant, you will need to demonstrate your academic achievements, as well as your demonstrated record of leadership, initiative and service to your school and/or community.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Have participated in the Bond University National High School Mooting Competition.
- Achieve a minimum of ATAR 92.00 or IB Diploma 34.
- Hold a demonstrated record of leadership, initiative and service to your school and/or community.
- Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study.
