Overview:
Through the generous support of corporate sponsors, and from other funds made available to the University, we offer a number of scholarships to Indigenous Australians.
Our Indigenous Scholarships aim to support Indigenous Australians by offering a premium tertiary education experience and pathways to exceptional career opportunities.
Our Indigenous Scholarships are proudly supported by generous alumni and community donations into the Ambition Appeal.
Applications open 10am on Tuesday, 2 May, 2023 and close 5pm on Tuesday, 5 September, 2023.
Being a Bond University Indigenous scholar:
As an Indigenous scholar you will be provided with 50% of tuition fees for any single undergraduate degree (excluding the Medical Program) or 100% tuition for any diploma program. You will start at Bond in the January semester.
As an Indigenous scholar, you will have demonstrated extracurricular involvement, leadership potential and academic achievements.
You will be supported by the team in our Nyombil Centre who will help you transition to university life and throughout your degree, and our staff will help you connect with the local Indigenous community who welcome our students at various cultural and social events. As an Indigenous scholar, you will be provided with a network of extracurricular programs, professional networking, internships and more.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (as defined by ABSTUDY).
- Have successfully completed or be currently completing Year 12 at an Australian high school.
- Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study.
