Black Hills State University
Enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester. Completed 12 credit hours and in good standing as a student at BHSU. 3.0 GPA Is a participant in a performing arts program including band, choir, music, theatre, or a member of the college radio station. Preference will be given to a performing arts major. Preference will be given to a student that has graduated from a Black Hills area high school or is transferring to BHSU after attending a community college in the area.
BHSU SCHOLARSHIPS OF DISTINCTION BHSU’s Scholarships of Distinction program awards merit scholarships of up to $4,000 per year to qualifying new first-time undergraduate students, while funds are available.
Awards Based On: Unweighted High School GPA and ACT/SAT Composite Scores or a Test Optional pathway.
Requirements:
- Apply for admission to BHSU prior to February 1st.
- First-time undergraduate students only (no prior attendance at any college or university, after high school graduation).
- Seeking a degree from BHSU (Non-degree seeking are not eligible).
