BHSU Family Scholarship
Black Hills State University
The BHSU employee applicant must be a full time employee and at least a half-time student (minimum 6 credit hours) at BHSU.
If a child of a BHSU employee, the applicant must be a full time BHSU student (minimum 12 credit hours) at the time of the application.
All applicants must be in good academic standing; if not, they may reapply with a 2.0 GPA or better (passing grades in 67% of classes).
The successful applicant will be selected on the basis of greatest need.
Scholarship funds are divided equally by semester.
BHSU SCHOLARSHIPS OF DISTINCTION BHSU’s Scholarships of Distinction program awards merit scholarships of up to $4,000 per year to qualifying new first-time undergraduate students, while funds are available.
Awards Based On: Unweighted High School GPA and ACT/SAT Composite Scores or a Test Optional pathway.
Requirements:
- Apply for admission to BHSU prior to February 1st.
- First-time undergraduate students only (no prior attendance at any college or university, after high school graduation).
- Seeking a degree from BHSU (Non-degree seeking are not eligible).
