​Natalie Jo Smith Scholarship Fund

While the family of Natalie Jo initiated this scholarship fund following her untimely death, hosts of friends stepped forward to support the growth of this permanent memorial. It will generate income for scholarships to be awarded to WV high school graduates who will be attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio, to pursue a degree in nursing, education or the ministry. The recipient must have met academic standards as required by the University and have been active in a Nazarene Church in the WV South or North Districts. Natalie was a senior at WWHS planning to attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University. WWHS counselors described Natalie as a “moral, trustworthy, organized, diligent young woman, full of laughter… our lives are blessed because of her character and presence in our lives.”
