​Max Lewin Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Citizens Scholarship Fund of Beckley, Inc. started this permanent endowment at BAF to provide an on-going income stream for a yearly scholarship award in Max Lewin’s name. Recipients must be WWHS graduating seniors demonstrating financial need. Max Lewin was a Holocaust survivor who came to Beckley where he owned Harry’s Men Shop and the Home Modernization Co.

• Woodrow Wilson High School graduate who demonstrates financial need.
