​Lemma Fink Bowyer Fund

The late Lee Lilly and her husband, Judge C. Berkley Lilly, established this scholarship fund in honor and memory of her mother who died in 1986. Mrs. Bowyer was fi rst a school teacher and later postmaster at Danese in Fayette Co. One of 7 daughters and 5 sons born to Andrew Etchison and Jane Ellen Vines Fink, Mrs. Bowyer always retained strong interests in education. This fund will aid aspiring teachers.

Eligibility:

• Scholarship rotates between WV Wesleyan, Glenville State, Shepherd College and Concord University.
• Qualifying school for 2017-18 is WV Wesleyan
• Qualified deserving female who is a Raleigh or Fayette County high school graduate pursuing an education degree in the Fine Arts or English field.
• Must have full-time enrollment status, be an upperclassman, and reside on campus.
