Overview

The late Judge Lilly and his wife, Lee, established this scholarship fund for needy upper-class (sophomore or higher) students from Fayette or Raleigh County attending schools that the donors or their two daughters attended. Judge and Mrs. Lilly were graduates of WVU Institute of Technology, with Judge Lilly earning his law degree from the University of Richmond. Daughter Ellen Lilly File received her BA from Duke and her law degree from WVU. Kerry Lilly Mullins obtained her BA degree from WVU and her master’s degree from the University Of West Virginia College Of Graduate Studies.

Eligibility
  • Scholarship rotates between five designated schools: WVU-Institute of Technology, WVU—Morgantown, WV Wesleyan, University of Richmond, and Duke University.
  • 2017-2018 qualifying school is WVU-Institute of Technology
  • Qualified needy upper-classman (sophomores or higher) students who graduated from a public school in Raleigh or Fayette County.
  • Must be living on campus.
